Dbanj
On the first day of the year, Nigerian artist Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, often known as Dbanj, took to Instagram to announce the arrival of his newborn girl, two years after losing his son, Daniel.
Banky W and Adesua Etomi
Adesua Etomi-Wellington, a Nollywood actress, gave birth to her first child with Banky W, a newborn boy named Zaiah, in February. In Banky’s “Final Say” music video, the couple announced their birth of their son. He is said to be everything they prayed for.
Ini Edo
Ini Edo, a Nollywood actress, revealed she a baby girl a few months ago through surrogacy. In an exclusive interview with Stella Dimoko Korkus, Ini revealed that she chose a donor as the child’s father “for the peace of mind of me and my baby”.
Akah and Claire Nnani
On February 8, 2021, Nollywood actor and vlogger Akah Nnani and his wife Claire Idera had their first child. On their joint Instagram page, Akah announced the news. He said that the photo he uploaded was shot just hours before their baby was born. “There are two lovers and a love child.” After that, our baby arrived (literally a few hours later).
Samuel Ajibola
Samuel Ajibola, an actor who plays “Spiff” on hit show, “The Johnsons”, and his wife Sandra Ajibola had their first child in December. Samuel, confirmed the news on his Instagram page posting a picture with the caption, “I can’t thank God enough for you babe. He has used you to multiply my seed. Love you to bits”.
Khafi and Gedoni Ekpata
Khafi Kareem and Gedoni Ekpata, the Big Brother Naija 2019 couple, had their first child, a newborn boy named Malakai Ekpata, in August. He was said to have been born as a miracle.
Basketmouth and Elsie Okpocha
Basketmouth became a father for the first time in August! The comedian and actor shared the good news with his Instagram followers with the caption, “Her name is Maya… Maya Okpocha. P.S. Now I have to buy a new gun.”
Daniel Etim-Effiong and Toyosi
Daniel Etim-Effiong and his wife, Toyosi had some happy news to share in September, as they announced the safe arrival of their baby boy. The author of “Now You Know Me Better” gave birth to a healthy baby boy after suffering with a missing ovary. She shared photographs of herself in the hospital holding her newborn kid on Instagram to convey the good news.
Chef Fregz and Lala Akindoju
Chef Fregz and Lala Akindoju had their first child, a newborn boy named Adeoreofe, in February. They married in 2018 and opened up about their challenges to conceive.
Lil Kesh
Lil Kesh, a Nigerian artist, has joined the parenthood club by flaunting his new son on social media. He proclaimed his new status as a parent in an Instagram post that featured a snapshot of a newborn baby resting peacefully.
Rosy Meurer, a Nigerian actress, gave birth to her first child in March. She is presently married to Olakunle Churchill, Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband.
