The social media space has witnessed several reactions after a University of Uyo student declared his interest to run for the 2023 Presidential race in Nigeria.
Known as Usoro Emmanuel, the final year student of the University of Uyo declared, via his Facebook page, his intention to run for the 2023 presidential race come next year.
Usoro, who is understood to be indecisive in which party to go with, also declared on his Twitter handle.
“After you go follow shout greatest Nigerian Student, no dey commot for something you don loose even before you start.” A social media user queried him, while some students were happy to finally have someone who will listen to their lecturers especially in times of strike like this.
One Joseph Ekong wrote, “Distinguished Senator, the incoming President has gained more support on the largest social media platform ‘Twitter’ as its users put their trust on him to deliver it’s mandate.”
The flyer which Mr. Usoro used to declare his intention has logos of two front line political parties in Nigeria, the Leading All Progressive Congress (APC) and the opposing People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
