WhatsApp has announced that the new version of the chat application would cease to function on over 50 phones starting from November 2021.
According to a report by The Sun, WhatsApp claims that phasing out support for older models of the phones both iPhone and Android, will help keep the app secure.
However, the newspaper stated that phone users can use the service by updating their Android and iOS versions to at least 4.1, according to Daily Advent.
