Three Christ the King Major Seminary students kidnapped in Kaduna State’s Jemaa Local Government Area have been released.
The three seminarians were released by their abductors on Wednesday, according to Reverend Father Emmanuel Okolo, the chancellor of the Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan.
However, there is no evidence that a ransom was paid for their release, and the police have yet to comment on the situation.
While thanking God for the seminarians’ rapid release, Father Okolo also prayed for the freedom of other kidnap victims who are still being held captive.
On Monday, October, three seminarians were kidnapped by bandits suspected of being kidnappers.
However, they were released barely 48 hours after their abduction.
