German coach and one of Ralf Rangnick’s mentees Julian Nagelsmann have hinted that the new Man United coach should stay above his initial managerial contract.
Rangnick signed a six-month interim deal with United who parted ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but the highly-rated tactician has already been tipped for success and a long stay at the Old Trafford club.
“I texted him and told him it’s great. He will do very well with United with the way he plays football. I believe they will play food games in the next few weeks and I hope he’ll stay there longer than just next summer.” Julian Nagelsmann said.
The Bayern Munich coach is one of the people who benefited from Rangnick’s leadership during their time at RB Leipzig.
The 34-year old managed Leipzig for two seasons before leaving for Bayern Munich to replace Hansi Flick who is now at the helms at Germany National team.
Ralf Rangnick has been committed to working as the head coach of Manchester United for the next six months with an option for a further two years consultancy role and could stay beyond the two-and-a-half years as concerns have already risen.
