Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has sworn in Chinelo Chidubem Odili, the daughter of Supreme Court Justice Mary Odili, as a High Court Judge.
Popnen Sylvester Sunday, Daketima Gabriel Kio, and Nsirim Chinwe Amanda, the younger Odili, were sworn in alongside three other judges.
Justices Popnen S.Sunday and Daketima G. Kio were both private legal practitioners before their elevation, while Justices Nsirim and Chinelo C. Odili were Chief Magistrates.
Another of Justice Mary Odili’s daughters was sworn in as a judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja last month.
