In the report released Wednesday, Chinese and foreign trafficking gangs operating out of China’s southern coastal province of Fujian arranged for the contraband to be smuggled by fishermen in December 2020.
The Fujian court’s decision was issued in “recent days,” according to China News Service, citing local police.
