Nigeria’s Samuel Chukwueze has scored the fastest goal in this year’s African African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Chukweze scored inside three minutes, leading in the fastest goal race.
Ivory Coast midfielder Max Gradel held the record scoring inside five minutes against Equatorial Guinea to gift his side the victory.
But has been overtaken by the Villarreal forward Chukwueze who had a first time strike after Nice forward Moses Simon pulled back a short cross.
The 22-year old has been deep in form for the Super Eagles since his return from injury and the goal could be a wake up call for the youngster.
