Ghana’s Parliamentary Select committee on sports on Monday has asked Black Stars Captain Andre Ayew to appear for questioning on the team’s Africa Cup of Nations abysmal performance in Cameroon.
Ghana was eliminated in the group stage after falling to fourth in their group with just one draw and two losses.
The committee who wrote through the Ghana Football Association asked that the captain should appear before the August Committee to answer questions on the performance of the team.
It can be gathered that a comprehensive report will be demanded from the captain including allegations of some senior players using juju in the camp.
Ghana is set to play the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a doubleheader world cup qualifier and there is a need for restructuring after the management of the team was put in place earlier this month.
