Dakkada Football Club of Uyo will on Saturday engage themselves in a survival battle against Lobi Stars of Makurdi.
The Uyo-based club has seen their stay in the Nigerian Professional Football league threatened by relegation and are on course for a survival battle.
Dakkada currently is 19th on the log with just two points off safety and a win against Lobi Stars can lead them out of the drop zone.
Lobi Stars themselves are 13th on the log with just six points off the relegation zone.
A loss for Dakkada will further bring them down to within three points from relegation and it will be a clash for survival in Uyo on Saturday.
Dakkada lost their last game to sister-club Akwa United in an Orange-derby but a win against the Makurdi-based side would be a spark for their survival.
