Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen scored two goals to help Napoli win Hellas Verona on Sunday.
Osimhen who returned from a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to AC Milan scored all his sides goals to secure an important win for the Naples-based side.
The 23-year old opened the scoring in the 14th minute before doubling his effort in the 71st minutes to make it 2-0 for Napoli before Marco Faraoni score in the 77th minutes in what turned out to be a mere consolation for the host.
The Super Eagles forward has now scored nine Serie A goals with four others in the Europa League to take his goals tally to 13 for the season.
The former Lille forward is in line to lead the attack for Nigeria when they engage in the crunch World Cup qualifiers against the Black Stars of Ghana later this month and his form has just arrived on time for his country.
