The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be engaged in an international friendly game against the El Tri of Mexico in May.
The game is scheduled to take place at the AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas, United States of America, on Saturday, May 28 2022.
The North American side will be making preparations for the FIFA World Cup which will commence few weeks after the game, and Nigeria will be using the game to test-run their squad ahead of the AFCON qualifiers.
Nigeria failed to make it to the FIFA World Cup to be hosted in Qatar later this year after being dumped out by the Black Stars of Ghana.
The Super Eagles played a goalless draw against Ghana in Kumasi and a 1-1 draw in Abuja sent Nigeria home on away goal rule.
While others will be preparing for the World football event, Nigeria will be preparing for next year’s African Cup of Nations.
