Popular Nigerian actor Yul, son of Peter Edochie, tore the internet apart after he announced the birth of his son from another woman.
Yul announced on Wednesday the arrival of his son from a fellow actress, Judy Moghalu, via his Instagram page.
The announcement has brought several reactions from many, including his first wife, May Aligwe, who felt betrayed that her husband got a child out of wedlock.
May has four children with Yul, who was named after a popular Russian actor Yul Brynner.
They both got married at a young age of 22, after dating for six years.
May got upset with the arrival of her husband’s new wife and took to social media to react.
“May God judge you both,” she wrote.
The post came after her husband, Yul, made an instagram post with the caption, “It’s time for the world to meet my son. His name is STAR DIKE MUNACHIMSO YUL-EDOCHIE. Born by my second wife @judyaustin1 And I love him so much, just as much as I love my other children.”
Several Nigerians have trolled the Nollywood star;
A twitter user @Maggie wrote, “Yul Edochie has a 2nd wife?? I thought they said a marriage with a man whom you stayed with when he is broke will last, how far???”
Another with the username @Ruth also wrote, “So while Yul Edochie was directing movies, he was busy directing her to the other room.
Fear men!!”
Several others have also questioned Yul on his marriage to another woman while some gave credit to him for being brave enough to make the shocking confession and announcement.
