The Sierra Leone National team has announced their final 23-man shortlist in preparation for the TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations slated for Cameroon next month.
The Leone stars earlier announced a 40-man shortlist on December 20 and has now reduced it to a provisional 28-man as approved by the organisers of the event.
A notable inclusion of the squad in former England International Steven Caulker alongside former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Mohammed Medo-Kamara, Kei Kamara, John Kamara and Queens Park Rangers defender Osman Kakay.
Sierra Leone is in Group E Alongside Ivory Coast, Algeria and Equatorial Guinea with an opener against defending champions, Algeria on January 11th, 2022.
