A central Mosque in Garoua, Cameroon has received a cash award of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) from Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa, Adepoju Tobi Samuel reports.
Adepoju who is one of the journalists reporting from the Eagles base in Cameroon as they are participating in the Africa Cup of Nations 2021 delayed edition wrote on his official Facebook page.
“Musa has donated $1,500 to support the ongoing building project of the Central Mosque in Garoua.
“Players and officials of the team have been worshiping in the Central Mosque since they arrived in Garoua. The gesture to support the ongoing building project was appreciated by the leaders of the Mosque.” Adepoju wrote.
Nigeria is due to play Tunisia in their round of 16 fixtures on Sunday and the Eagles have already gotten the backings of some Cameroonians who benefited from this gesture by Musa.
