One of the leading Governorship aspirants in the Hilltop Mansion race of Akwa-Ibom State, Honourable Onofiok Akpan Luke, during one of his campaign tour was blessed and prayed for by a teenager whom he awarded with a scholarship.
Nehemiah Samuel Okon, who reportedly dropped out of school, was awarded a scholarship to return to school by Mr Onofiok Luke in Ibesikpo Asutan on Wednesday.
During the consultation of the People’s Democratic Party of Ibesikpo, Mr. Luke took a different dimension of touching a life in the area which broke the heart of the beneficiary as he shed a flood of tears.
In an overwhelming reaction, Nehemiah, with tears, held tightly to Mr. Luke’s bosom and showered prayers of blessing to the former Speaker of Akwa-Ibom State.
Nehemiah prayed that God should make Luke become the next Governor of Akwa-Ibom State for the show of love.
