Nigeria league champions Akwa United Football Club of Uyo have had their matchday six and seven fixtures rescheduled by the League management company.
Akwa United was due to play Katsina United on Sunday, January 16th has been backdated to Saturday, January 15th to be played at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
In the same vein, the matchday seven involving Akwa United football club and Enyimba have also been moved further forward.
The game which will take place at the Aba township stadium was earlier scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 15 but will now be played on Thursday.
According to the media officer of Akwa United, the reasons for the rescheduling have been captured in the letter issued to the club by the League management but will be effective as clubs must adhere to the higher body.
