Rangers of Scotland saw off German side Borussia Dortmund to progress to the round of 16 of the Europa League on Thursday night.
The Scottish side had already registered a 4-2 advantage in the first leg in Germany.
Dortmund saw themselves down in the second leg in the 21st minute when skipper Tavernier opened the scoring for the host from the spot.
But the German side brought themselves level through Jude Bellingham when he equalised ten minutes later.
Dortmund gained the lead for the first time when Malen struck after being located by Bellingham but Captain Tavernier scored again from Bassey’s ball to bring his side level.
Joe Aribo was in midfield for Rangers as well as Leon Balogun who came in to replace Borna Barišić in the 46th minute.
Rangers will find out their round of 16 opponents on Friday when the draws will be made.
