Spanish side Barcelona has agreed to a fee in the region of £55m for Manchester City star Ferran Torres, Sky Sports reports.
Torres has been a long-term target for the La Liga club and it appears their prime target has finally been acquired.
Barcelona will pay an initial £46.7m (€55m) plus a further £8.5m (€10m) in add-ons. Some £5.9m (€7m) of those add-ons are said to be more or less guaranteed.
City signed Torres from Valencia for a £20m (€23m) and a profit of about £27m (€32m) on a player they signed in 2020.
City has not met the bonuses on Torres’s contract due to his limited minutes in the field do the Citizens as his time has been hampered by injuries.
The 21-year old has played just four matches in the premier league this season coupled with one appearance in the Champions League.
He is currently on the sidelines since October but will return to Spain in January for his second chapter.
