The 2021/2022 English Premier League season is yet to draw the curtains, but some teams have already been confirmed relegated.
Following their confirmation by the League management, Norwich City Football Club appeared the first to be confirmed relegated from the English top flight this season.
Watford Football Club were on Saturday confirmed as the second team to be relegated from the English top flight division.
The Hornets were defeated 1-0 by Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, thanks to a 31st minute penalty by Wilfred Zaha to stamp them relegated.
Six Nigerian players are contracted to Watford and will all go down to the Championship with the club, should they fail to secure moves away.
Vice-Captain William-Troost Ekong, Oghenekaro Etebo, Samuel Kalu, Tom Dele-Bashiru, Emmanuel Dennis, and Maduka Okeye who will join the club next season.
Some may likely secure moves away, especially Emmanuel Dennis who has been on form for the club this season with Bashiru,who is already on loan. Ekong and Etebo may likely secure deals away.
