President Muhammadu Buhari will pay a condolence visit to the people of Zamfara state today, Friday, to express his condolences for the recent terror attacks that have left hundreds of people dead.
The president has already left Abuja for Sokoto state, where he will commission a new three million metric tonne cement plant built by BUA Cement.
According to The Nigerian Tribune, he will also commission a 48-megawatt power facility in the state before heading to Zamfara for a condolence visit.
Buhari Sallau, a presidential assistant, verified the development in a post on his official Facebook page.
Bandits are alleged to have slain at least 200 people in towns across the state earlier this month.
