Burkina Faso goalkeeper, Herve Koffi, is set to be discharged from the hospital on Thursday morning after his head injury appears not worse as earlier feared.
Koffi suffered an injury in the first 45 minutes in his side’s semi-final loss to Senegal and was substituted and later hospitalised.
Scan research carried out on his head to X-ray the extent of the damage resulted in no further injury aside from the pains he sustained during the clash.
Koffi collided with Senegal’s Kouyate and was carried off as his side lose 3-1 and the goalie may be set for a return during his side’s 3rd place playoff on Saturday.
