Burna Boy Drops New Single ‘Bundle By Bundle’ And Announces Upcoming Album

Global Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy has dropped an exciting update for his fans. On Tuesday, December 17, the artist announced the forthcoming release of his eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness, set to debut in 2025 under Spaceship, Bad Habit, and Atlantic Records. 

To kick off the album’s rollout, Burna Boy unveiled a fresh single, “Bundle by Bundle,” on the same day. Produced by longtime collaborator Telz, “Bundle by Bundle” captures the infectious energy of Nigeria’s late-night holiday celebrations. 

The track fuses Burna Boy’s signature style with lyrics that speak to authenticity and self-assurance. In one of the verses, the Grammy-winning artist delivers lines that resonate with his vibrant persona.

Burna Boy sings in one of the verses: “Why you tell another person/ Wetin I tell you? Always like to say the truth and shame the devil/ No dey for all that kind level ’cause/ I no get time for the people/ Wey too dey wuru gbon lenu/ Emi, Mr. No gbo nothing no dey hear you/ 100,000 people when I pull up for the venue/ Why e be say I still dey hustle welu welu/ When I get money like Tony Elumelu.”

This lyrical brilliance, paired with the song’s high-energy beats, promises to make “Bundle by Bundle” a staple on playlists for parties and celebrations.

Burna Boy Teases Fans with Hints and Milestones

Before its official release, Burna Boy had been previewing “Bundle by Bundle” during performances at clubs across Nigeria, often sparking rumors of a budding romance with American artist Chloe Bailey. 

While fans speculate about their relationship, Burna Boy focuses on his artistry and upcoming career milestones. One major highlight is his scheduled performance at the Stade de France in April 2025. 

As France’s largest stadium, this headline show cements Burna Boy’s status as a global music icon and a trailblazer in the Afrobeats genre. No Sign of Weakness comes two years after Burna Boy’s previous album, I Told Them, which featured 15 tracks and collaborations with major names like 21 Savage, Byron Messia, GZA, Dave, Seyi Vibez, RZA, and J. Cole. 

The album included hits such as:  “Sittin’ on Top of the World” (remix featuring 21 Savage), “City Boys”, and “Talibans” remix with Byron Messia  “I Told Them” achieved remarkable chart success, peaking at No. 31 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the World Albums chart. 

It also received a  Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Album in 2024. Additionally, Burna Boy earned nominations for; Best African Music Performance for “City Boys” (in the award’s inaugural year), and Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Sittin’ on Top of the World.”  

Burna Boy continues to dominate the global music scene, recently clinching a spot as a finalist for the Top Afrobeats Artist category at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards. With another Best African Music Performance nomination for “Higher” ahead of the 2025 Grammys, the Nigerian superstar is showing no signs of slowing down.
