The current TotalEnergies CAF Champions League winners Al Ahly of Egypt have been handed a tough test when the draws for the 2021/2021 grouping were conducted.
The ceremony took place at CAF headquarters in Cairo and Pitso Mosimane, coach of Egyptian giants Al Ahly SC shared the stage with Khaled Nassar, CAF Head of Competitions alongside the draw conductor.
The Egyptian giants will have to fight against Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa and Sudanese firepower Al Hilal as well as Al Merrikh of Sudan.
Nigeria lacks a representation in the Africa biggest club competition as the Akwa United and Rivers United failed to make it to the group phase.
