Jaruma, a popular Nigerian aphrodisiac vendor, appeared in court Monday, January 28, in Abuja, but was granted bail.
Barrister Ismail Abdullahi Jubril, the sitting judge, granted her bail application, declaring that the accusation was bailable before an Upper Area Court in Zuba.
A grade 12 surety working in the federal capital territory was required of Jaruma.
She was charged with four counts of defamation of character, criminal intimidation, harmful lie, and disseminating falsehood to create public hatred against Regina Daniels’ husband, Prince Ned Nwoko.
Jaruma had pled not guilty to the accusations, and her attorney had requested bail, which the judge granted on January 28, 2022.
