Manchester United’s search for a new manager reached a new height on Wednesday when news flown in from Paris about the possibility of Mauricio Pochettino joining the Red Devils.
Several news outlets suggested Pochettino’s interest in the job at Old Trafford.
But Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed the situation calling it ‘complicated’.
Manchester United have to pay Paris St Germain a huge some should they insist on hiring Pochettino and PSG are ready to listen to negotiations should the right some be presented.
Meanwhile United are eagerly waiting for Pochettino to push for a move away from the Parisian club.
PSG on their own have Lined up former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane to be the man to replace Pochetino but the former France star who was earlier contacted by Manchester United is unwilling to move to Old Trafford.
The situation now looks set for United to appoint a caretaker manager who they are understandably not ready and Michael Carrick from all indications looks set to continue when United travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea on Sunday after qualifying the team to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions league with his win against Villarreal in his first game as a manager.
