The FIFA U20 Women World Cup draw took place on Thursday, in Costa Rica, and Nigeria had a draw against one of the tournament’s favourites, France.
Nigeria will compete in group C against the likes of Canada, Korea Republic and France.
Group A had host – Costa Rica, as well as Australia, Spain and Brazil.
Germany, Colombia, New Zealand and Mexico will face each other in Group B while Group D has Japan, Netherlands, Ghana and USA.
16 teams will compete for the trophy and the tournament will take place between August 10th and August 28th.
Two representatives from the African Continent will participate as both Nigeria and Ghana are drawn in group C and D respectively.
