The first half ended in a stalemate with both sides not able to produce a moment of the half.
But the game was open in the second phase as Abdou Diallo opened the scoring in the 70th minute after he met Koulibaly’s attempted overhead kick.
Idrissa Gueye added Senegal’s second after a fine work by Sadio Mane at the flank.
Midfielder Toure pulled one back for Burkina Faso after tapping in a cut-back cross from Kabore in 83rd minutes.
But Mane ensured it’s a win as he sealed the victory with an 87th-minute strike to ensure his side participate in the final on Sunday.
