PLAYING FOR FREE FOR KANO PILLARS ON HIS SECOND SPELL
His philanthropic work started on his return to Kano Pillars when he was touted to have been representing them without charges.
The former Leicester City player was only concerned about his fitness when he returned to Nigeria for a second spell with Kano pillars and this links with the words Kano Pillars media officer, Malam Idris Rilwanu Malikawa spoke before Musa’s return saying, ‘Musa is not after our money.
MUSA DONATED $15K TO A MOSQUE IN GAROUA
Though Nigeria did not have the kind of outing they deserved at the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa affected some lives positively before Nigeria was eliminated.
The Nigerian team was based in Garuoa which is believed that some Muslim faithful must have attended prayers in the nearby mosque.
Musa donated one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) an approximate six hundred and twenty-four thousand (N624,000) when converted to Nigerian currency to the mosque before they departed Garoua.
The former Al Nassr forward did not stop his kind gesture to humanity after supporting the mosque in Garoua to assist them to complete their building but also reached out to 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist, Kingsley Obiekwu who went viral that he’s working as a driver in Enugu.
Super Eagles captain, @Ahmedmusa718 has donated two million Naira (N2m) for him to support him.
DONATED #2M TO SECONDARY SCHOOL IN NIGERIA
Musa in January 2021 donated the sum of two million Naira (#2000,00) to a secondary school in Kano to help bull facilities for the school.
The 29-year old did not spend time pm his second return to Pillars as he ventured into helping out the children as the school was down in terms of facilities.
HOSTED KANO PILLARS IN HIS HOME AND DONATED N3 MILLION
Musa after being accepted to return to Pillars for his second spell, the Fatih Karagümrük forward was like a father to the team.
He hosted the entire players and coaching staff at his residence and donated three Million Naira (#3000,000) to the team in appreciation.
Musa is one of the players loved by the supporters of the Super Eagles of Nigeria due to his humbleness and good character.
Though his football is having an unstable movement, especially at the club level, he cannot be replaced as he is the current leader in Nigeria’s dressing room.
