Edo State Governor, His Excellency Mr. Godwin Obaseki on Tuesday relieved the Vice-Chancellor of the Ambrose Alli University Professor B.O. Osadolor of his duty.
Mr. Obaseki who made this known via his verified social media page said that the sack takes its course with immediate effect.
In the same vein, Mr. Obaseki also appointed Professor Sunny Adagbonyi as Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University.
“I have, in the exercise of my powers under the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Law and the Special Intervention Law, 2021, has relieved Professor B.O. Osadolor of his appointment as Acting Vice-Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma with effect from Tuesday, 8th February 2022.
“In my capacity as Visitor to the University, I have further approved the immediate appointment of the following:
- Professor Sunny Adagbonyi as Acting Vice-Chancellor
- Professor Theo O. Agueda as Acting Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Administration, and
- Professor Marshall Azeke as Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics
“We thank Professor Osadolor for his service and wish him well in his future endeavors.” Obaseki wrote.
