Moses Simone was torn on the flesh for Egypt defenders, causing them all sorts of worries.
Many football fans credited the Nice forward their man of the match, but the official TotalEnergies AFCON man of the match was the goalscorer, Kelechi Iheanacho.
Simon revealed that the performance against the Egyptians is his best performance in over two years and credited to coach Augustin Eguaveon.
“The game (Vs Egypt) is one of my best in two years. Every coach has their mentality & impact.
“The previous coach, I play to his instructions. With the new coach, he gave us freedom & allow us to bring our style of play at club side.” Simon said.
The likes of Wilfred Ndidi had his best day, his midfield partner Joe Aribo as well as Taiwo Awoniyi who made his AFCON debut, partnering Kelechi Iheanacho up front had good performances all thanks to Eguaveon’s style of management.
