The Independent Corrupt Practices (Prohibition) Commission (ICPC) has pledged to collabotate with the Network of Civil Society Organisations Against Child Trafficking, Abuse and Labour (NACTAL).
The Authority reports say that the Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Bolaji Owasonoye, made the pledge when he received NACTAL President, Abdulganiyu Abubakar, who led a delegation on a courtesy call on the anti-graft Commission boss, Wednesday in Abuja.
Prof Owasonoye said his Commission was interested in the areas of Migration and Sexual Harassment which according to him, ICPC is currently working assiduously on.
He equally commended the present NACTAL Team and assured that the Commission will partner with the Network.
Following the report, the delegation had sought co-operation with ICPC in the areas of training, joint activities on transparency and accountability in the management of migration resources as well as informing the ICPC leadership about efforts made by the present NACTAL administration for continuous regional, continental and global visibility.
The NACTAL President was accompanied during the visit by Mrs. Veronica K. Umaru, a BOT member, and Mrs Imaobong Ladipo Sanusi, the North Central Zonal Coordinator.
Highlight of the outing was a presentation of NACTAL 5 years Strategic Plan, Profile, Workplan, customised presents and card for Prof Owasonoye’ s recent birthday, the report said.
