Super Eagles forward, Odion Jude Ighalo, aspires to join the list of Nigerians who have won major honours for their respective clubs this season.
The former Manchester United striker, who now plays for Al Hilal in the Saudi Arabian Pro League, has scored 22 whopping goals in 28 games so far this campaign, as his team stays second on the log.
Al Hilal is second on the table with just one goal difference separating them from Al-Ittihad, who are on top with 61 points and 59 goal difference. Al Hilal has 61 points and 58 goal difference and has just two matches to end the season.
The Nigerian is aiming to secure a major honour for his club and include his name on the Super Eagles major achievers list this season.
The likes of Akinkunmi Amoo has won the Danish Cup, Moses Simon – French Cup, Umar Sadiq who just delivered the Spanish Segunda division title to Almeria, and several others with individual awards.
Ighalo and his team need two wins from the two games and pray Al-Ittahid drops a point or two, so they can have a superior goal difference to be crowned champions.
