Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho was on target as his side Leicester City defeated French side Rennes in their first leg of the Europa Conference league round of 16.
Iheanacho was a second-half substitute as he doubled his side’s lead, curling home a fantastic effort.
Forward Albrighton has already put Leicester in front in the first half firing home Harvey Barnes cut-back cross before Iheanacho came on to double the advantage.
The 25-year old Super Eagles forward has been directly involved in 11 European goals and assists for Leicester City since the 2016/2017 football season.
He is the only player to be involved in more goals and assists in Europe than Harvey Barnes who provided the first goal.
The 24-year old English boy, Barnes has been involved in nine goals and assists in Europe for Leicester since joining the Club, only bettered by the Nigerian.
Iheancho who is part of the Super Eagles team that will play Ghana in a crunch World Cup qualifying tie later this month has been prolific in recent times and is a plus to his country.
