Shooting Stars of Ibadan new acquisition Anietie Uko has expressed delight in his current form in his debut season in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Uko joined Shooting Stars prior to the resumption of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football league season after seeing off his contract with NNL side FC Vandresser.
The Akwa Ibom-born midfielder had a delayed start to life has had some complications that delayed his registration and couldn’t start his Club’s first match of the season.
Iron as he is better known in Uyo has featured seven times for the Ibadan-based side and his performances have been eye-catching.
The Greater Tomorrow Sports Academy graduate has made seven appearances as a holding midfielder and has recorded three assists, a statistic very rare to players in his position considering the nature of the Nigerian Professional Football League.
Uko and Shooting Stars have travelled to Plateau State to take on Plateau United and he told livefromnaija his experience so far.
“It’s a good experience n am enjoying every bit of it”. Uko said.
Shooting Stars have lost just one game he has played and has recorded five emphatic wins with just one draw.
