Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has noted that Brazilian defender Robert Kenedy is not the solution to his team’s left-back woes.
Chelsea successfully completed the withdrawal of the Brazilian from his loan spell at Flamengo but has hinted he is not their solution.
“Kenedy is back [from Flamengo loan]. It’s a huge opportunity to make his mark on this team. We can’t say that Kenedy is the solution”. Thomas Tuchel said.
Chelsea lost both Ben Chilwell and Marcus Alonso to injury coupled with Ceser Aspilicueta who is now deployed as a centre-back in the club’s Three-four-three formation.
Kenedy has arrived as the only recognised left-back and will fill the void left by his colleagues.
