Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman pulled the only assist for Leicester City in their 2-1 loss to Rennes in the second leg of their Europa Conference league round of 16.
The French ligue 1 side took the lead in the 9th minute but Lookman setup Fofana for the equalizer in 51st minutes to restore hope for the English side.
Tait restored the lead for Rennes but wasn’t enough to send home Leicester.
The Foxes took a 2-0 advantage at King Power when Rennes visited England and the 2-1 win could not afford to take the French side through.
Lookman who was cleared by FIFA to represent Nigeria as he decided to play for the West African Nation instead of the Three Lions of England is eagerly awaiting his debut and the crunch World Cup qualifiers against the Black Stars of Ghana will be a perfect platform for him to debut for his fatherland.
