Lawal Babalola Oreofeoluwa’s rise to fame all started as a punishment, today, he has ventured into the Nollywood industry after appearing in Kunle Afolayan’s Netflix film, “Swallow”.
During the lockdown in 2020, a 5-year-old upset his mother, who was ready to punish him, but he calmed her down in what ensued a pretty amusing dialogue between him and his mother. The clever little boy tried to talk his way out of punishment by encouraging his mother to calm down and relax for a little.
Following the success of his viral video, the young kid was appointed as an ambassador for several companies and visited prominent personalities such as Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Femi Adebayo, and a slew of other celebrities, including famed Nollywood movie producer, Kunle Afolayan.
Kunle Afolayan, a popular Nollywood producer, met with the young Oreofeoluwa who eventually landed his first film role in Kunle Afolayan’s ‘Swallow.’ The young youngster was clearly a natural actor in the film, as he portrayed his part with ease. In the popular film, Oreofeoluwa played Eniola Badmus’ little son, Ayo.
Oreofeoluwa, who has worked with the likes of Kunle Afolayan, Eniola Badmus, Kelvin Ikeduba, Frank Donga, Adaku Lolo1, Chioma Akpotha, Deyemi Okanlawon, and a slew of other well-known Nollywood performers, would be looking for more roles in major Nigerian films.
Although he said that he wants to be a police officer when he grows up, the young child would undoubtedly make a name for himself as an actor in the entertainment industry.
