With the 2022 NFF Elections drawing near, the emotions of football fans all over Nigeria are spiralling.
The Congress of Nigeria Football on August 17 2022, constituted the NFF Electoral Committee and NFF Election Appeals Committee at its Annual General Assembly in Lagos to foresee the processes of producing the new President and other executive members for the Nation’s Football sector.
The Committee led by Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Aikhunegbe Anthony Malik as the chairman which was charged with the responsibility of conducting the election within a 42-day span announced the commencement of sales of forms from August 29 as he also fixed prices for the Presidential form and other positions.
Duration Of Sales Of Forms
Mr Aikhunegbe-led committee announced the sales of forms to start on August 29 and to be closed on September 8. Screening of aspirants is scheduled to take place between the 9th and 12th of September 2022.
The publication of candidates qualified to stand for election after the screening will be made public by the electoral committee on September 12 before the final list on the 19th of the same month.
Date And Venue of NFF Elections 2022
The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Mr Amaju Pinnick at the recently concluded Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the Federation announced that the 2022 election will hold in Benin City on the 30th of September.

The list of Presidential aspirants has entered into double figures as tension rises on who will replace current NFF President, Mr Pinnick.

The electoral committee announced the prices of forms for the office of the President and other positions including;
President – #500,000
Vice President – #400,000
Chairman of Chairmen – #350,000
Executive Committee – #300,000
All aspirants must as a matter of fact, make a purchase of the forms before they can stand for election. Moreover, if all the Presidential aspirants purchase the forms, it will be a top income of more than Five million Naira for the Electoral board.
