Super Eagles defender, Jamilu Collins, completed a transfer from German side – SC Paderborn, to English second division side – Cardiff City, on a two-year permanent deal, ahead of the new campaign.
The Nigerian star left SC Paderborn, after spending five years with the German second tier side, and made over a 120 appearances.
His new club, Cardiff city, confirmed the deal via their official website, “The Bluebirds are delighted to confirm the signing of Nigerian-International Jamilu Collins on a two-year deal commencing from July 1st, subject to clearance,” Club’s official website reads.
The 27-year old defender has recorded 11 caps to his name after featuring in AFCON earlier this year, in Cameroon, with the Nigeria National Team. He was also part of the team that won the AFCON bronze medal in Egypt 2019.
Jamilus Collins is expected to join his new teammates on July 1st, ahead of the new season, playing as a left-back for Cardiff City.
