Recall we earlier reported that a customs officer accidentally killed colleague while trying to extort traveler, information reaching us now has it that the customs officer shot an unarmed civilian and not his colleague as earlier claimed in the Instagram post.
In the video obtained by our team, the customs officer was seen to have allegedly shot a civilian over N5,000 bribe. The recorder could be heard arguing loudly with one of the customs officers shouting:
“Oga… If you touch my phone ehn. This is my iphone 4x. You will know say you will pay my phone with your salary. I am a Nigerian citizen and a member of this town.”
It was later seen that the recorder showed a body of a man who was reportedly shot by a customs officer. The recorder was heard screaming:
“He don kill person… Custom don kill person ooo…”.
