Popular Nigerian skit maker and comic producer, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known and addressed as Oga Sabinus, sued Peak Milk to court, demanding a 1 billion Naira compensation.
Sabinus argued that the brand used his popular trademark phrase, ‘something hooge’, without his permission.
The comedian has also sued the sausage producing company, Gala, for using his cartooned picture without his authorization.
Sabinus has asked that Gala compensates him with a 100 million Naira.
Meanwhile, his fans and followers have thrown in several reactions as one of their entertainers is set to divert his attention from making them happy.
Some have advised Sabinus to abandon the case and focus on his already established comic production, else he will loose his fame.
They claim that once the court begins it’s hearing on the case, he will not be chanced to concentrate on producing his comedy skits.
Many even tag the case as a ‘hooge’ one and say he should let the sleeping dog lie.
It is unclear the position of the court on this, neither has any reactions from both Peak Milk and Gala been spotted.
