Peter Olayinka was on target for his club side Slavia Prague in their dramatic 4-3 away defeat to LASK in the UEFA Europa Conference league on Thursday.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria attacker opened the scoring in the 24th minute to hand his side an added advantage following their home victory in the first leg.
Slavia Prague went into the game with a 4-1 advantage in the first leg, as LASK needed three goals to send the game to extra time.
But Olayinka broke the deadlock taking the game beyond the home side.
LASK came from behind to win 4-3 but Olayinka and Slavia Prague qualified with a 7-5 aggregate.
The 26-year old Olayinka is on the standby list as the Super Eagles of Nigeria prepare to take on the Black stars of Egypt in a crunch World Cup double-header qualifiers with the first leg taking place in Kumasi on March 25.
