The University of Uyo has assigned a story building in its annex campus to the new Faculty of Communication And Media Studies.
The newly appointed Head of Film and Multi-media Department, Professor Charles Obot shared this information on his Facebook page while soliciting funds and assistance in renovating the building.

The renovation will position the new faculty as liable to be verified during the upcoming NUC Resource Verification which will determine when new students can be admitted into the faculty.
Professor Charles Obot also requested donations of computer sets, books and other resources the department would need.

Recall that the former Department of Communication Arts had been split into different faculties which resulted in the inauguration of a new faculty in the university.
The building assigned to the faculty is an old story building located in its annex campus which is in close proximity to the main campus where the former department of communication arts is located in the faculty of arts.
