Jeremiah Ekuma, a former street hawker, is ready to return to school after the Ebonyi State University reinstated his enrolment, which he had missed because of financial constraints.
After being captured on camera transferring money to the occupants of a prison bus in Lagos in January, Ekuma’s tale altered.
Ekuma announced on his official Instagram account that he had met with school officials and that his admittance had been reinstated.
“My entrance to EBSU has been reinstated,” he remarked, “so I will be returning to school soon.”
